Out-of-Band Access is a discipline that refers to physical access and control of your target without relying on the internal operating system. Thankfully, OOB Access doesn’t rely on or even require an internal OS that is functioning properly (or, at all) in order to gain access. Many management and administrative tasks cannot be performed remotely, in-band, on some operating systems; therefore, in these cases ‘physical’ access to the main console will be required… in other words, Access to Console Zero that.
